Friendship Hotel

1991-1995，Beijing

This is the inaugural interior design and renovation project by Wang Kaifang, which includes the renovation of hotel bedroom, apartment, dining hall, wellness center, entertainment center,conference rooms etc., totaling 50,000 square meter.

Wang Kaifang won the Beijing Construction & Decoration Awards, Excellent Design Award and was conferred honorable awards from the CSCEC (China State Construction Engineering Corporation). The Friendship Hotel is the largest five-star garden hotel in Asia.

* Beijing Friendship Hotel, which was built in the 1950s and was the place where Premier Zhou Enlai received the foreign guests, is a very important reception center of the State Council, on a par with the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.
