This is the sound of the wooing humpback whale. Viasonar data acquisition, 3D technology and the artistic approaches, the sound is vividly converted and presented on the sculpture. Through multiple transformations of the auditory sense, visual sense, and tactile sense, the sound of love of the endangered humpback whale could be perceived and felt by us. This sculpture is located in the Palace Museum in Beijing, dialoguing with the traditional bricks there. No matter in the past, at present and in the future, we all need to listen attentively to diversified “sounds of love” existing in the universe. The lofty and profound love beneath our hearts could be provoked and our civilization could evolve sustainably.
